Fabletics: The Louise Thompson Edit

Find out what happened behind the scenes of The Louise Thompson Edit event...

Fabletics have announced their exclusive collaboration with Made In Chelsea and Fitspiration Louise Thompson. The Instagram star has carefully put together her favourite activewear pieces from Fabletic’s to create The Louise Thompson Edit.

I was lucky enough to attend the press event of The Louise Thompson Edit, held at The Curtain in Shoreditch, where I was treated to a hot and sweaty HIIT class and a healthylicious breakfast from Ethos. So here’s an insight to what exactly went down behind the scenes.

8:45 on the dot, myself and other attendees, were put through our paces during a quick HIIT session taught by personal trainer and Thompson’s boyfriend, Ryan Libby. The training consisted of 20 seconds on/off through a variety of exercises that hit all parts of the body, beautifully demonstrated by Louise who was not afraid to break a sweat. And YES before you say anything – she’s totally toned in the flesh as well as her insta pics!

After getting our butts into gear, thanks to the burpees, squats and lunges, we were treated to a glorious breakfast spread from Ethos. I was unsuccessful with capturing a cute picture of the breakfast because let’s be honest the last thing you want to do post fasted workout is faff about taking pictures. I was hungry okay. However, I can confirm that I did in fact demolish the mini peanut butter energy balls in seconds.

Anyway, moving onto the sportswear… The MIC star pieced together her favourite items from Fabletic’s latests designs and what I love about her collection is how the colour palette of the clothes match to the season but with a twist. “The new colour schemes will inject some life into the dull autumn weather and encourage people to get out there and exercise,” Louise told Fabletics. We’re talking teal, burgundy, plum and greys teamed with sky blue – all of the luscious tones that represent a stylish Autumn.

Louise says, “This collection incorporates different textures incredibly well with lace trimming, backless details, velvet, mesh, and other materials to keep it new and exciting.” The Louise Thompson Edit launched on Fabletics 12t October. Have a look for yourself and shop her collection here.
