Introducing Selena Gomez for the new face of Puma! Worldwide pop star sensation and the Queen of Instagram (127 million followers to be exact) announced her long term partnership with the global brand Monday 18th September and since then the internet has been waiting anxiously for an exclusive insight of the collection.

Gomez also shared a sneak preview, confirming the collaboration with Puma on her Instagram by a sleek, sun kissed photo effortlessly showing off a sports bra.

She also captioned the photo ‘Officially a part of the fam @puma #pumapartner’

Expanding her fashion portfolio to athleisure, the 25 year old said in a press release that, “Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me, PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”

If this wasn’t exciting enough, Gomez also expressed her love for activewear in her latest interview with Vogue. “I think it’s become this collaborative thing where street wear and fashion blend into one. It’s a really beautiful thing because I see girls now feeling sexy in not even necessarily workout clothes, but clothes you could go work out in, then put on a cute pair of shoes and go out after,” she said.

Preach it Selena, now you are talking our kinda language! The collaboration is set to mainly focus on athletic separates like sports bras, tops, ect unlike her partner Abel Tesfaye, who we all know as The Weeknd, is currently designing his own XO parallel shoe.

Another question that’s inching off our lips is will Gomez be given the same responsibilities as Rhianna as Puma’s collaborator, designer and creative director? Will it be just as a hit as Rhianna’s Fenty collection?
