Winter style in Varley

Who says you can't be cosy and stylish at once

It goes without saying that I have learnt a lot this year. From changing jobs to moving into a new flat, 2019 was my year for growth and discovering new adventures. One of those being, ta dah, Varley.

If you don’t know the activewear brand Varley then you’ll sure get to know, as I have gone stir crazy for their AW19 Collection. Think, rusty animal prints, comfy snoods and hoods, Varley has got it down to a T when it comes to stylish comfort. Here’s my winter style in Varley.

Who would’ve thought that burnt orange would be my go-to colour this season, I am obsessed with the autumnal and sophisticated look it perceives. Alongside animal print, I have discovered a new love for the trend – especially in activewear.

Buckthorn Cheetah Duncan Leggings Varley

Super soft to the touch and designed in Varley’s signature Lolux fabric, the Buckthorn Cheetah Duncan leggings combine comfort with style effortlessly. Its smudged cheetah print gives the leggings a playful touch, perfect to team with minimalistic colours such as black and white.

Teamed with its matching Buckthorn Cheetah Bassett Bra, the high-neck style provides extra coverage and support.

Introducing my winter essential; the Picante Barton Sweat. From its cinched waist toggle to oversized sleeves, I was fixated on this sweater the moment I saw it.

Picante Barton Sweat – Varley

Featuring an oversized funnel collar and loose fit sleeves, this sweater is the definition of snuggle. Better still, you can cinch in the waist for a flattering look thanks to its adjustable toggle.

Varley Montalvo Coat – Fashercise

Saving the best to last… the only coat you’ll most likely see me wearing from now on. The Montalvo coat is just as cosy as it looks. Designed as an oversized bomber style sherpa jacket, it features a drawstring hood and patch side zip pockets, perfect for keeping hands toasty. What I love is its ribbed inner cuffs detail and snap button closure to ensure warmth is kept inside, great for my trip to New York in January.

There you go, that is my winter style in Varley. A brand that knows exactly how to combine comfort with style during the colder months. I hope you enjoyed my style breakdown, I had so much fun shooting and putting it together. Expect more looks coming very soon, 2020 is the beginning!
