You might already know Boux Avenue as the high street lingerie destination, from playful frills to sultry silk, you can find a variety of underwear designs – swimwear too! Here’s the game changer, Boux Avenue collaborated with model and influencer, Arabella Chi, for the new face of #BouxSport. I was gifted a few pieces to review, after putting them to the test, both at the gym and as everyday wear, here’s my verdict on the new Boux Sport x Arebella Chi drop.
I was surprised by how many pieces the new collection has. From vests, crop tops to jackets, Boux Avenue proves they know a thing or two about stylish activewear.
I love the look of long sleeve tops but have always questioned its practicality whilst working out. Coming from someone who sweats very easily at the gym, I can’t imagine myself exercising in a tight long sleeve crop without feeling hot and bothered. Alas, I put the Jacquard Zebra Crop Top to the test and it wasn’t all bad. The subtle zebra print design on the sleeves adds style points, as well as its ultra soft feel. However, depending on your workout, I wouldn’t opt to wear it during high intensity exercises because if you are someone like me, the extra fabric will keep things toasty. Perfect for yoga and as everyday wear.

Without doubt my favourite item of the Boux Sport x Arabella Chi drop is the Jacquard Running Jacket. I feel like the sleekest ninja wearing it, the type of clothing that makes you really look the part so you have no choice but get yourself to the gym. Will it keep me warm on my outdoor runs? Not just yet, maybe save it till Spring but as a throw on before or after working out, absolutely!

The biggest oxymoron in the activewear fashion industry is grey leggings. Some make the glutes look phenomenal, check out any fitness influencer for reference (there’s a reason why they film their ‘booty burn’ workouts wearing grey), others well… it’s a struggle. Keeping it real, I was disappointed with the quality of the Jacquard Mesh Leggings. You can leave your underwear at home whilst wearing these, up close and personal, they are just a tad see through. For lounging? Yes, I love how comfortable the seamless design is. For weight lifting? Hmm I’ll pass.

Boux Avenue understands how important it is to keep our top half comfortable – especially during our workouts. The Jacquard Mesh Crop Top features mesh details that boosts breathability, which means you will keep cool even through the toughest of workouts. Its racerback sculpts a flattering style that ensures maximum comfort and the waistband provides medium support.

Boux Avenue doesn’t just stop at lingerie, hopefully this haul has shown you that their activewear is gorgeous too. Whether you are working out, running errands or chilling at home, the new Boux Sport x Arabella Chi range has the essentials for you.
